Floating Docks:
Floating docks have been recently engineered and feature a specialized rail that makes float and top deck attachment easy and permanent. Special regard is given to water depth and differentiation of water height to size your dock for appropriate strength and spud pole length. These docks are piano hinged together to absorb wave energy, and they also feature the Thru Flow™ decking.
Big Woods State Park, Cedar Falls Build
- Anchored to shore with 64, 000 pounds of concrete that has been riprapped for erosion.- 30' clear span gangways pivot to absorb water roll, and to hinge the fishing platform, allowing it to raise and lower with flooding.
- The fishing platform and half of the gang ways rest on 34,000 pounds of floatation.
- Purpose of the whole system is for handicapped access, especially those in wheelchairs to fish.
